The Moselle is a paradise for cyclists. On both sides of the river you can cycle for almost the entire distance between the source in the Vosges Mountains to the estuary in Koblenz, in the "German corner", without having to cycle uphill. Travelling upstream from Briedern to Zell, or downstream towards Cochem, there are many roads which are purely for cyclists, so you can enjoy your trips without being disturbed by many cars or lorries.
